Return and Refund Policy
Cancellations After Butchering
Once the animal allocated to your order has been slaughtered, your purchase is final. We do not accept cancellations or provide refunds because you change your mind, no longer want the beef, or decide not to receive your order. This applies to whole-animal purchases and fractional shares.
Butchering is irreversible. By that stage, an animal has been committed to fulfilling your purchase, and costs have been incurred that cannot be undone by canceling the order.
Choosing Not to Receive Your Beef
You may choose to decline your beef after the animal has been slaughtered. However, voluntarily declining delivery or collection does not cancel your purchase or entitle you to a refund or store credit. Payments remain nonrefundable under this policy even if you choose not to take possession of the product.
Perishable Products
Because beef is perishable and requires proper temperature control, we do not accept returns or exchanges for changes of mind or personal preference after delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, spoiled, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us promptly with your order information and photographs, where available, so we can investigate and address the issue. Do not return perishable products without contacting us first.
Weight Adjustments and Required Remedies
This cancellation policy does not eliminate any weight-based price adjustment available under our Terms of Service, including its applicable shipping and delivery provisions.
Nothing in this policy limits refunds, replacements, or other remedies required by applicable law.
Shipping Policy
We deliver premium, grass-fed beef directly to your door. Here’s how it works:
Delivery Coordination:
After your order is placed, we will contact you to confirm a delivery window (after your outstanding balance is settled).
Missed Deliveries:
If you are unavailable during the agreed delivery time, OC Grass Fed is not responsible for spoilage or rescheduling fees.
Shipping Liability:
Once the product has been handed over to the carrier or delivered, OC Grass Fed is not liable for delays, damages, or spoilage caused during transit.
